Tisha Schuller welcomes Federica Berra, senior vice president of global aviation of Air bp, to the Energy Thinks podcast. Listeners will hear about Air bp’s push towards their goal of net zero by 2050 in part through sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) development.
Federica is an internationally recognized expert in the natural gas, LNG, and power sectors. She is the senior vice president of global aviation at bp, one of the world’s leading suppliers of aviation fuel products and services. She is leading a team to execute the new bp air strategy, which launched in 2022.
She holds an M.S. in chemical engineering from Sapienza Universita di Roma in Rome, Italy. Prior to bp, Federica spent her career in oil and gas with various leadership roles at ExxonMobil, such a vice president of acquisitions and director of global natural gas strategy and Canada gas, power, and NGLs marketing manager at Imperial Oil.
